Yay! This game looks more and more awesome every time a new trailer comes out for it. My only disappointment is that the Personas this time are based off of literary figures, and not mythological ones. I can see why they chose them over mythological characters though, since not many characters from myth are known to be rebellious.
Oh, they’re based of the literary personas?! I didn’t know that and I’m just a little more excited now :D It’s not mythological, but I’m always in the mood for something new/strange.
Yeah! The MC persona, Arsene is based off of Arsene Lupin, the originator of the “Gentlemen theif” trope, Anne’s persona, Carmen is a reference to the character in the opera and Novella of the same name (Not Carmen Sandiego), Morgana’s persona, Zorro is based off of Zorro from the stories with the same name, and Fubata’s persona, Necronomicon is a reference to… Wait for it… H.P Lovecraft!
Well, most of the Personas in this game anyways. WE GOT A FEMALE POPE MOTORCYCLE (Johanna). PIRATES (Captain Kidd). THE JAPANESE EQUIVALENT OF ROBIN HOOD (Goemon). I swear this game is just going crazy awesome on us.
