La Esquina is small chain of Mexican restaurants in New York City.
The midtown location is a small space with a few tables. Probably seats around ten to twenty people maximum.
I ordered the bistec (rib eye) and carnitas tacos. They both cost about four dollars each. The tacos were noticably tiny and unsatisfying. They tasted okay. I also had the moros y cristianos (rice, beans, pico de gallo, cheese) for four dollars and a horchatta for three dollars and fifty cents. They were both okay.
Overall, it’s an okay place to get tacos if you’re desperate for tacos. However, I wouldn’t come back if I could help it.
