TV Show Review: Young Justice: Outsiders

Details: Watched about nineteen episodes this season. More information can be found at

Score: 5.7/10

Young Justice: Outsiders has some of the worst writing I’ve ever heard. The dialogue is just painful. Which is depressing because this is the only animated DC Comics show airing right now. As someone who grew up with Batman: The Animated Series, Superman, Batman Beyond and Justice League, this is just sad.

Anime Review: Fire Force

Details: Watched three episodes. More information can be found at and

Score: 6.9/10

Fire Force answers the question, “Can we truly make an anime about anything?” The answer is yes. Fire Force is a shounen anime about fire fighters, but loaded up with all the shounen anime tropes anime fans are familiar with. That means rivals, supernatural superpowers, a big bad boss controlling everything, etc.

Anime Review: Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind

Details: I’m up to episode thirty-seven. More information can be found at and

Score: 8/10

There really is nothing else like Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. One of the oldest running franchises, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure has inspired, been referenced to and been copied by countless other anime and manga to some extent. TV Show Review: Stranger Things, Season 3

Details: More information can be found at

Score: 7/10

I feel like this season of Strangers Things was a lot more fun than the prior seasons. I mean, there was always a bit of fun in the prior seasons, but I feel like this season was a lot more focused and had a lot better pacing. Also, each episode seemingly had something important that dealt with the primary plot line. No episodes with Eleven running off with other powered teenagers in this season. Just some kids fighting a monster. It’s also somewhat easier to sympathize with teenage actors than child actors.

Anime Review: Steins;Gate 0

Details: You can watch it at . More information can be found at

Score: 6/10

So I tried to sit through this thing, but it was just too boring. I got to episode fourteen before I just gave up and started fast forwarding through the episode to see what happens. The good news is that there is a nice ending waiting at the end of this series. The bad news is that the episode are so filled with boring fluff that getting to that ending is painful. There are plot twists and developments throughout this series, but the slow pacing just kill this show for me. I do not recommend this show unless you are a desperate fan of the Steins;Gate franchise.
