Burger King has decided to dip their toes into the fast food taco industry and the result is shit. Most tacos you get from fast food restaurants are pretty shit, but relatively speaking, Burger King’s tacos are shittier than their competitors. I think what makes it so bad is that the taco I received was premade. It had sat there for a while before I purchased it and I could taste that. Taco Bell at least has figured out that even if you take shitty ingredients, if you assemble it at the time of ordering it will at least stay somewhat fresh and crispy rather than a soggy, stale lump. The Burger King taco was a soggy stale lump. Just go to Taco Bell if you want some shitty tacos. I will say that for a dollar, the taco is not a catastrophic failure.

This is one of the worst things I’ve ever eaten. I know protein bars are supposed to be healthy and things that are good for you are supposed to taste bad, but this was terrible. I’d avoid this like the plague and opt for the better tasting Clif bar instead. This is also usually more expensive than competing health conscious snack bars, which doesn’t make any sense since it tastes like trash.

This was really disappointing. Gom Tang is a Korean soup made from bone broth, like tonkatsu ramen broth. It’s supposed to have an almost creamy mouthfeel, with a very subtle taste. This ramen captures none of that. The noodles were too thin and kind of crap. The broth just tasted like your average, cheapest priced ramen, except that Paldo ramen generally cost more than the cheapest priced stuff. Avoid this.

Qing Dao Restaurant is a shady looking Chinese restaurant with dirty, dimly lit seating area in the back and a display area in the front where they sell baked goods.

Ultra Spicy is yet another numbing spicy place in Flushing that is all too trendy among Chinese restaurants. This place wasn’t great and I definitely don’t recommend it to people who don’t speak Mandarin Chinese.
