Soft Drink Review: Sparkling Ice Peach Nectarine

Details: More information can be found at

Score: 5.9/10

Sparkling Ice is essentially flavored seltzer water. It’s advertised as a somewhat healthier option and priced a bit high. I wouldn’t say this is soda because it doesn’t have as much sugar as a coke or a sprite. It’s also more water-y and less syrupy like major brands of soda.

The most noteworthy thing about this soft drink is that it uses sucralose. Sucralose is a sugar substitute often used in diet soda. Accordingly, this stuff has that diet soda after taste. Some people love that taste. I don’t enjoy it.

Overall, it was okay. If you like the diet soda after taste, you should get this. If you don’t avoid this stuff.

Snack Review: Pringles Roast Chicken & Herbs

Details: More information can be found at

Score: 6/10

Pringles has come up with a bunch of really odd flavors and roast chicken is one of them. I tried it recently and the best I can describe it as is as an extremely mild barbecue sauce with no sweetness. They basically took a lot of the seasoning you’d normally put on a roast chicken and put it on a potato chip. It’s stuff like garlic powder, onion powder and a bunch of other “spices” (that’s what it said on the back of the container).

Overall, this isn’t my first choice of potato chip, but it’s not terrible. There’s no actual chicken in it so that’s a plus. If given the option, I’d probably just get barbecue flavor since that’s basically this, but more intense.

I’ve been here a couple of times and the food is mostly all right. The biggest downside to this restaurant is that there is that Malay Restaurant is few stores down and does everything slightly better for a slightly higher price.
