Bubble Tea Review: Tiger Tea

Score: 5.3/10

Tiger Tea is yet another new bubble tea place that opened up recently. It has no relation to Tiger Sugar.

I ordered a brown sugar boba milk drink for around five dollars. It was likely the worst version of the brown sugar bubble tea drink I’ve ever had. The portion was small, the bubbles were cold and hard, and the tea didn’t taste great.

Additionally, when I came by, the place smelled awful. Every once in a while, a clean bubble tea place will clean out their machines and the place will smell like crap. I just happened to come by while they were doing this I think and the place smelled bad. The tea unfortunately tasted a little like the smell.

I don’t recommend this place.

Bubble Tea Review: Tsaocaa

Details: Located at 3804 Prince St, Flushing, NY 11354. Official site is http://www.tsaocaatea.com/

Score: 6.8/10

Tsaocaa is yet another bubble tea place that opened recently. I feel like there were at least seven or eight places that opened this last month. I feel like the main thing each place is offering is a different style of interior decorating and space where you can drink your tea.

Mtea is yet another new bubble tea place that opened recently. What separates this place from other bubble tea places is that their space is massive and very… pink. But in a good way.

Bubble Tea Review: Hero Tang Tea

Details: Located at 41-40 Kissena Blvd, Flushing, NY 11355. A claimed Yelp page can be found at https://www.yelp.com/biz/hero-tang-tea-flushing

Score: 7/10

Hero Tang Tea is yet another bubble tea place that has recently opened in Flushing. Recently, Coco Bubble Tea closed one of their locations and Hero Tang Tea scooped it up.

In terms of quality, Hero Tang Tea stands up along with all of the better known bubble tea places in Flushing. The tea here is pretty good and I could taste the relatively good quality.

As for what is unique about this place, the tapioca is a lighter shade of brown rather than the dark black normal color. I don’t know what that indicates, but it is slightly different I guess.

The week I went was opening week I think. It was buy one get one free and I indulged myself. I think the promotion is over now.

Overall, this is a good place for a decent quality bubble tea. Nothing different or extraordinary here. It’s just plain good.
