Movie Review: Aquaman

The very concept of Aquaman, a superhero who can breath underwater and talk to fish, is ridiculous. Director James Wan had his work cut out for him to turn this weird concept into a plausible movie. For the most part, he did a decent job. This isn’t a great movie, but it does it’s best to turn a stupid concept into a fun action movie.

Movie Review: Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is a great movie with a lot of heart. The only downside to this movie is that it may be hard to buy into if you know next to nothing about Spider-Man. The more you know about the character, the more enjoyable this movie will be. While kids may enjoy this movie, I would argue that this is not primarily a children’s movie. There is murder and death and some real themes going on. Some light spoilers ahead.

TV Show Review: Daredevil, Season 3

After watching the now cancelled and generally mediocre seasons of Luke Cage and Iron Fist, I worried for this newest season of Daredevil. Luckily, my worries were unfounded. Daredevil season three brings back the quality production values that you saw in seasons one and two. As an aside, don’t go on Yahoo because they put spoilers for this show right onto the front page… those ass hats.

Teen Titan’s Go! To the Movies is an animated comedy that largely target children. However, if you’ve been a fan of the more serious Teen Titans cartoon, of the more lighthearted Teen Titans Go!, or of superhero properties in general and want to see them made fun of, then you may enjoy this movie as well.
